It may sound a bit strange to say “Make Music for Your Clients”, but when you think about it, aren’t we all entertainers? We don’t mean that in a light-hearted or foolish way. In business we strive to give the customer what they want. If they don’t want it, they won’t buy it. If they don’t like us, they won’t buy it from us. Harsh, for sure, but true.
So, when we say “Make Music for Your Clients”, we’re serious. If you were going on stage tonight wouldn’t you be doing everything possible to make sure you delivered your best performance, from the heart? And the moment you step into the spotlight don’t you want to engage with every person in your audience?
So, kindly and gently, we’re saying isn’t that what you want to do with your business and specifically with your website?
So why would you go on stage with your guitar strings out of tune? Or appear with only part of your make up done, or half of your wardrobe in place?
Show business has some axioms that apply to those of us in business also.
For example: “You’re only as good as your last act”.
Also, “There’s no such thing as bad publicity”.
Well, maybe those two don’t fit perfectly, but you probably get the point. You want your business to be exceptional; better than the competition; standing out from the crowd, and one-of-a-kind.
No matter what business you think you are in, you are not actually in that business. Instead you are in the marketing business. Face it. You must have the best presentations, world class ordering systems, great team members and excellent problem solvers.
That’s what we call making music for your clients.
We hope you agree.
