I’ve been living in Las Vegas since April of 2001. So, that doesn’t qualify me as a “bonified local”, but it’s pretty darn close.
I’ve watched my favorite town grow from a slightly wild place where people come to get married, drunk, broke, or all the above, into a corporate playground run by wall street suits who know nothing about the age-old number one rule: “keep the customer satisfied”.
No one who visits Vegas now could possibly think that catering to the customer, or at least letting them have a good time before they get fleeced, is the status quo now. It isn’t.
And because I’ve been here these 25+ years, I’ve actually watched the changes, inch by inch.
The biggest change, of course, was when the town was shut down by “covid”. I remember writing a blog post entitled “what happens in Vegas…doesn’t”. I’ve got personal pictures of the Strip that you could literally roll a bowling ball the entire strip and not hit anyone or anything.
I also remember driving down the strip in our convertible Mustang the night of September 12, 2001, after the twin towers were eliminated by the globalists. Also could have used the same bowling ball with equal results.
But, I digress.
During those years I played in bands, continually. Started my own band which had a great 7 year run. My wife and I opened a Wedding Chapel on the strip, which lasted about 2 years before selling out. The building is now gone. Burned down a few years ago.
And we kept building websites and creating videos for some of the best clients in the world. Well, maybe not all of them, but most of them were.
Anyway, we’re here to talk about websites, marketing, and all things to increase your wealth and well-being. In that context, I submit:
The first problem to show up
The first problem, even before you open your doors, is how to get the best website for your money. You do know that websites can cost a bundle, right?
Sure, we know you have those DIY (do-it-yourself) solutions, but they kind of look like you did it yourself. More importantly, they usually don’t come with all the functions you need for your business. They make pretty good billboards though if you are really tight on funds.
When we say “work hard for your success”, we mean everything needs to be done well and coordinated. A business plan is important, however be sure to use it after you create it. Hiring great team members is crucial. Your reputation rides on every customer contact. There’s a lot to do.
We knew a Realtor whose favorite saying was “it only costs a nickel more to go first class”. Now, we all knew it wasn’t true, but it does make you focus on the fact that many times for only a bit more you can go first class.
This is why we now offer custom WordPress websites along with video and animated video solutions at amazingly affordable prices. We believe all three approaches work great together.
